I'm a lucky woman to have found such wonderful, like-minded individuals here. The creative ways in which you show how much you love your furkids spreads a bit of goodness out into our universe. Something we clearly need more of!
Each night when I come home, I look forward to seeing what my online friends and their kiddos are up to. I've only lived in TX for a couple of years and have a tiny handful of friends. I feel so far from my friends in Maine. I work a gabillion hours a week, and between the kid and kiddos, sometimes I feel isolated. Not here, though - there's so much positivity and beauty! This online community is all about comfort, kindred spirits and those special creatures that share our lives.
In a word - LOVE!
Total agreement. I take a lot of grief for the time I spend on the computer, but I enjoy my blogging community. It isn't like you're all not real people sharing dog love.

ReplyDeleteI have been blogging for quite awhile, but it started for my mom to keep track of what was happening with her grand-dogs. At that point, I didn't read very many other blogs, but in the last year or so that has completely changed! I love the blogging community too, there's a lovely spirit out there and true friendships do develop!

So true! I work from home, which is sometimes very similar to being a hermit. On really people-free days or weeks, I skip reading the news online and make a virtual connection with my online people over lunch. It's not quite the same, but it sure helps!
