Bone Dog Pups

More shameless promotion of the Etsy store...
I finally made something dog-related!  I was asked to make one of my bone charm dolls for a friend (shhh...I'm not sure if it's a secret, so I'm not going to link the finished doll here yet).  I'm so thankful to have been given the opportunity to make something special, AND for giving me this new concept!

Bone Dog Pups!  These pups are made from up-cycled, cleaned and bleached chicken or turkey bones and then I added Arwen or Nyxie fur to finish the pups!  Finally - a use for all that blown coat!  The little guys have beaded leashes and collars. Yes, there is actually a beaded collar with a wire buckle under all that fuzz!  Each dog will be unique, like your unique pup - with all your dog's individual details.  You can see more pics at the store here

Here's a sample:

  7. Fanatastic! We think that each of the White Dog Army needs a personal one as an ornament for on the Christmas tree! We are going to have to get momma motivated to think of Christmas even though it is barely Spring!

  11. re: Christmas ornaments. We were serious and think they would be perfect on the tree! Let momma get things settled a bit with the big secret and then she will get our ornaments going!

  13. Hi guys! Yeah, we are rawbies and love it! It has helped a lot with sissy Ethel's sensitive tum and with our brudder Otis's skin/coat problems. Plus...TASTY.

Our brudder Oscar looks a lot like your Nyxie! How old is she now? Our OBST is 3 going on 4 and acts like a total teenager all of the time.

  14. Thanks so much for visiting me! I started doing some reading here, and I was drawn in for almost an hour! What an adorable pup Nyxie was! I really enjoyed reading stories of how Arwen and Nyxie came to live with you... so much that I went and shared it with my sister, Nala. She was used to being an only doggie for 12 years, until I came to live with her last September. I'm like Arwen in a way -- when Nala leaves the house, I get very sad, and run around the house crying. I'm just not used to being alone like Nala is.

Thanks again for visiting my site -- it's so nice to meet all of you!

    Woofs & hugs,

    ~Bailey
